Tjedan šparoga u restoranu “Re di mare” popraćen biranim vinima!

Nakon tjedna kamenica, vrijeme je za još jednu namirnicu, koja zbog svog posebnog okusa ima veliku grupu gastro obožavatelja.
Porijeklo joj je istočni Mediteran, a danas se može pronaći na više kontinenata i svojim zdravstvenim blagodatima spada u najljekovitije biljke na ovim prostorima.
Slava joj se pronosi od davnih dana drevnog Egipta pa do Rimskog carstva gdje se spominje u povijesnim knjigama kao delicija, ali i iznimno ljekovita biljka.
Šparoga se smatra idealnom namirnicom, a nutricionisti je svakako preporučuju iz više razloga. Prije svega bogata je mnoštvom vitamina, ima snažna antiupalna svojstva (pomaže kod bolesti srca i krvnih žila), smanjuje kolesterol i krvni tlak, sadrži velike količine inulina koje su ključne u liječenju probavnih problema te potiču čišćenje organizma, a uz svoj bogati nutritivni profil (samo smo spomenuli jedan maleni dio), šparoga je siromašna kalorijama –100g šparoga sadrži tek 20 kalorija!
Omiljena je i zbog svoje brze pripreme jer se kuha tek 3-8 minuta ovisno o debljini. Šparoge se jedu kuhane, pečene, ukiseljene, a konzumiraju se i sirove. Spremaju se na bezbroj načina, s malo maslinovog ulja ili vinskog octa, a najčešće se koriste u jelima poput, rižota, salata ili s jajima, a kod nas su vrlo često prilog uz ribu.

After a week of oysters, it is time for another foodstuff, has an army of culinary fans, due to its special flavor. The origin of asparagus is Eastern Mediterranean, and today can be found on more continents. From ancient Egypt till the Roman Empire, in the history books is known as a delicacy, but also as a therapeutically herb. Asparagus is considered the ideal food, and nutritionists definitely recommended it for several reasons.
First of all it is full of many vitamins, has a strong anti-inflammatory properties (helps with heart disease and blood vessels), reduces cholesterol and blood pressure, has a large amount of inulin which is crucial to the treatment of digestive problems and encourages cleaning of organism, and with its rich nutritional profile (we only mentioned a tiny part), asparagus is poor with calories -100g asparagus contains only 20 calories!
It is favorite due to its rapid preparation because it is cooked only 3-8 minutes, depending on thickness. They can be eaten boiled, baked, pickled, and can be consumed raw. They are served in many ways, with a little olive oil or vinegar, and is most often used in dishes such as, risotto, salad or with eggs, and we are very common side dish to fish.
