[:HR]Nekoliko tjedana prije početka kumrovečkog rallya na adresu organizatora stigla je lijepa vijest s Pantovčaka. Predsjednica Republike Hrvatske Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović potvrdila je svoje pokroviteljstvo nad 5. INA Rallyem Kumrovec 2016. Organizator je tim povodom predsjednicu pozvao u najpoznatije selo na svijetu kako bi označila start utrke simboličkim podizanjem hrvatske zastave ispred vozila sa startnim brojem 1.
Međunarodni 5. Ina Rallya Kumrovec 2016. će se u organizaciji AK Delta Sport iz Zagreba održati 4. i 5. ožujka 2016.
Međunarodni 5. INA Rally Kumrovec okupit će natjecatelje iz šest zemalja regije. Svoj je nastup najavilo gotovo 70 posada, a postupak prijavljivanja otvoren je do 26. veljače. Prvog dana natjecanja, u petak, 4. ožujka Kreator TV prenosit će prvi brzinski ispit koji će se održati na parkiralištu Termi Tuhelj. Nakon uvodna dva brzinska ispita koja će imati revijalni karakter, bodovni dio natjecanja održat će se u subotu, 5. ožujka na kružnoj stazi iznad Kumrovca. Itinerer je dugačak 51,40 km, od čega 42,54 km otpada na brzinske ispite.
Posebnost kumrovečkih brzinaca leži u uskoj stazi s mnoštvom vezanih zavoja i prijevoja. Nerijetko se na asfaltu nađe i poprilična količina šljunka kojeg odabirom idealne putanje automobili izbace na cestu. Već godinama publika prepoznaje rally Kumrovec kao događaj koji donosi atraktivne vožnje s mnoštvom skokova. U dosadašnje četiri utrke najbolje se snašao mađarski vozač Janos Szilagyi, koji je pobijedio tri puta, a 2013. godine morao je odustati nakon pola utrke zbog bolesti suvozača u trenutku dok je držao vodstvo. Jednu pobjedu u Kumrovcu izborio je Porečanin Daniel Šaškin.

President of the Republic of Croatia Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic has confirmed hers patronage of the 5. INA Rally Kumrovec 2016. The organizer in this occasion called the president to the most famous village in the world to symbolicaly mark the start of the race by raising the Croatian flag in front of the vehicle with starting number 1.
International 5. INA Rally Kumrovec will gather crews from six countries of the region. Nearly 70 crews announced their appearance and the registration process is open until 26. February. On the first day of the competition, on Friday, 4. March, Kreator TV will broadcast live the first special stage which will be held in the parking lot of Terme Tuhelj. After the inital two special stages that will have show-character, scoring part of the competition will be held on Saturday, 5. March at the circular track above Kumrovec. Itinerary is 51.40 km long, out of which 42.54 km will be special stages.
The specificity of Kumrovec stages lies in a narrow track with many linked curves and crests. Often lots of gravel gets on the asphalt which is put out of the roadside as drivers select the ideal line. For years, the audience recognizes Rally Kumrovec as an event that brings attractive rides with lots of jumps. In the previous four rallies Hungarian driver Janos Szilagyi was the best in such conditions. He has won three times, and in 2013 he had to withdraw after half of the rally due to illness of his co-driver while he held the lead. Daniel Šaškin of Porec has one victory in Kumrovec.
