HOT SPOTS CLUBBING VODIČ – PUTUJ, PLEŠI I UŽIVAJ 

Dakle, na ovim stranicama si jer si u festivalskom ludilu i tražiš vodič koji bi te vodio kroz labirint. E pa sveži pojas i čvrsto se drži. Mi ćemo te provesti kroz pustolovne dane i noći ljeta sa soundtrackom techna, housea, trancea, bassa, tech-housea... Pokušat ćemo dati jasan i koncizan pregled najboljih festivala koje ova divna zemlja ima za ponuditi od sjevera prema jugu i pobrinuti se da znaš mjesto, vrijeme i headlinere…

Što se tiče samih festivala, kao institucija u prošlosti su služili svrsi jačanja veza unutar zajednice u eri koja je prethodila masovnim medijima. Vrijeme je prošlo, ali potreba da budemo dio nećega većeg od sebe samoga, dio zajednice, još uvijek je vrlo živa. Ovo je ljeto u kojem ćeš dobiti sve što si ikada želio i bez obzira na to što se dogodilo samo nastavi plesati i živjeti!

ZAGREB CALLING – Faithless

Naše najsjevernije odredište i također jedina kontinentalna lokacija ove šetnje je glavni grad, Zagreb, ali party je jednostavno predobar da bismo ga izostavili. Ako glavni grad zove ti se javljaš. Dobro došli na Zagreb Calling s eventom sezone i golemom svirkom svjetskog elektroničkog dua Faithless 14. srpnja. Stoga planirate li ići dublje u kontinentalni dio tempirajte svoj posjet tako da se poklapa s ovom muzičkom bombom.

ISTRA I KVARNER – Partijaneri požurite u Pulu!

Selimo se na regiju Istre i Kvarnera i zaustavljamo se  u Puli. Tehnički neće biti baš toliko stajanja kako će Pula prštati životom zbog svog vlastitog festivalskog ludila. Seasplash festival (reggae) briljirati će zvukom od 16. do 19. srpnja, dok će se portali svježije dimenzije sklonije uživanju otvoriti na Dimensions festivalu od 26. do 30. kolovoza uz svjetska imena iz svijeta techna poput Four Tet Live, Bena Klocka, Johna Talbota i Surgeona. I na naposljetku rujan će nas pozdraviti bass glazbom na Outlook festivalu od 2. do 6. i tu će se zateći SBTRKT Live, Roni Size Reprazent i Goldie.

SJEVERNA DALMACIJA – Jadranska Ibiza Novalja ovo ljeto briljira

Putujemo još ponešto južnije i stižemo na plažu Zrće na Pagu, najpoznatiju party destinaciju u Hrvatskoj često okarakteriziranu kao Jadransku Ibizu. Od 28. lipnja do 2. srpnja  moći ćete uživati u Hideout festivalu i naći svoje vlastito sklonište od svijeta s imenima poput Dukea Dumonta, Jamiea Jonesa, Nine Kraviz, Sigme i Loco Dicea. Od 25. srpnja do 1. kolovoza pripremi uši za sedam dana ljubavi i radosti na Loveweek festivalu uz zvuke umjetnika kao što su Robin Schulz, Showtek, Oliver Koletzki i Felix Krocher.

Tada je vrijeme da se povučemo nekoliko kilometara dalje od morske obale gdje ćete sve ono izgubljeno moći naći na Lost Theory Festivalu u Deringaju u fenomenalnom ambijentu pokraj rijeke Otuče, plešući i njišući se među krošnjama duboko u šumi, od 12. do 17. kolovoza uz psihodelične i goa trance DJ-e, live nastupe i performere. Mrvicu južnije skačemo do Zadra koji te poziva da dođeš i plešeš na otvorenim prostorima Viva Riva festivala 7. i 8. kolovoza.

Iz Zadra nastavljamo dalje do Tisnog, očaravajuće prekrasne lokacije koja je jedna od najbrže rastućih i najtraženijih festivalskih destinacija Hrvatske. Za malo lude zabave bez briga Tisno otvara sezonu The Garden festivalom.

Od 1. do 8. srpnja biti će posljednja prilika ikada da posjetiš The Garden festival u njegovu konačnu 10. izdanju prigodno nazvanom “Going out with a bang” uz pozdravni soundtrack koji će pružiti Seth Troxler, Bonobo i Craig Richards dok ćemo samo dan nakon što se pozdravimo s Gardenom imati novu festivalsku bombu. Od 9. do 13. srpnja biti će vrijeme za opaziti golemog električnog slona usred prostorije. Disko glazbu će na Electric Elephantu proslaviti A Guy Called Gerald live, Derrick Carter i Bicep. potom stiže vrijeme da prestaneš biti praktičan i pridružiš se ekipi na Stop Making Sense festivalu koji će trajati od 16. do 19. srpnja. Postat će dom za sve ljubitelje housea, disca, techna, electra, soula i funka s glazbenicima poput Anje Schneider, Anthonyja Naplesa and The Black Madonna.

Nakon ludila vrijeme je za glađe, senzualnije zvuke SuncéBeat festivala kao doma za sočni produhovljeni house od 22. do 29. srpnja, a dušu unose Kerri Chandler, Louie Vega i Dimitri from Paris. Konačno, Soundwave festival će odjekivati vodenom površinom  od 6. do 10. kolovoza s Mr. Scruffom, LTJ Bukemom i Slum Villageom.

Posljednja stanica u regiji sjeverne Dalmacije je Šibenik gdje ćete slobodno moći uživati na SuperUHO festivalu od 6. do 8. kolovoza s Einstürzende Neubauten, King Khanom And The Shrines i Rosettom.

SREDIŠNJA DALMACIJA – ULTRA EUROPE EKSPLOZIJA

Središnja Dalmacija će te osvojiti obećanjima nezaboravnih noći. Započinjemo u Trogiru koji će plesati pod zastavom Moondance festivala 2. kolovoza na velikane poput Dave Clarkea i Kinka. Nastavljamo do Splita. Ovo je mjesto na kojem želiš biti jer se od 9. do 15. srpnja održava golema Ultra Europe eksplozija uz globalne headlinere kao što su The Chemical Brothers (LIVE), Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren i Hardwell, dok si od 6. do 8. kolovoza pozvan/a na EDM fantaziju Split Beach Festivala s Fedde Le Grandom.

Supetar na Braču postat će sigurno utočište Voi’sa festivala na kojem će umjetnici poput Breacha/Bena Westbeecha, Grega Wilsona i Joeya Negra svirati od 30. srpnja do 1. Kolovoza. Nastavljamo malo niže po zemljopisnoj duljini nalazi se oh tako sunčani otok Hvar koji ti želi dobrodošlicu na 3. izdanje FOR festivala od 4. do 6. rujna.

JUŽNA DALMACIJA – Paul Van Dyk u Dubrovniku!

I napokon stižemo do najjužnijih festivala koji su ti na raspolaganju. prvo možeš stati na Korkyalisu na Korčuli, fantastičnom petotjednom opuštajućem festivalskom iskustvu, na kojem možeš chillati na farmama i jahtama u okolici i isplesati srce s Tubeom& Bergerom, Tiefschwarzom i Subb-an i Noirom od 25. srpnja do 29. kolovoza, i možda u međuvremenu navratiti u zaljev Velika Duba u blizini Živogošća. Za sve one koji si ne mogu pomoći da ne plešu ispod zvijezda u nedirnutoj prirodi predstavljamo Adriatic Perception festival 14. i 15. kolovoza na kojem nas čekaju Silicone Soul i Ramon Tapia.

LOVE, DANCE AND TRAVEL

So you are on these pages because you are in a festival frenzy and you were looking for a guide to lead you through the labyrinth. Well buckle up and hold on tight. We will lead you through the adventurous days and nights of the summer with the soundtrack of techno, house, trance, bass, tech-house…  We will attempt to give you a clear and concise run thought the best festivals this beautiful country has to offer from north to south and will make sure you know the place, the date and the headliners.

As for the festivals themselves, as an institution in the past they served a purpose of strengthening the bonds among the community in the era before mass media. That time has passed but the need to be a part of something bigger than yourself alone, a part of community, is still very much alive.  This is the summer you’ll get everything you ever wanted so no matter what happens just keep on dancing and living!

ZAGREB

Our most north destination and also the only continental location is the capital, Zagreb, but the party is just too good to leave out. If the capital of the country calls you answer. Welcome to Zagreb Calling with the event of the season and a grand gig by the large electronic duo Faithless on Jul 14^th. So if you are planning to go deeper into the continent plan your visit to coincide with this bomb.

ISTRIA & KVARNER

We move on to the Istria and Kvarner region and settle in Pula. There will actually not be much settling as Pula will be bursting with life with its own festival madness. Seasplash festival (reggae) will splash you with sound from Jul 16^th to 19^th and portals to a fresher and more enjoyable view on life will be opened on Dimensions festival from Aug 26^th – 30^th with world class names from house to techno such as Four Tet Live, Ben Klock, John Talabot and Surgeon.  Finally, September will be greeted by bass music Outlook festival from Sept 2^nd to 6^th with SBTRKT Live, Roni Size Reprazent and Goldie.

NORTHERN DALMATIA

So we take out journey a bit more south and arrive at Zrće beach on the Island of Pag, the most famous party destination in Croatia often dubbed The Second Ibiza. From Jun 28^th to Jul 2^nd you will be able to enjoy The Hideout festival and find your own shelter from the world with the names such as Duke Dumont, Jamie Jones, Nina Kraviz, Sigma and Loco Dice.

From Jul 25^th to Aug 1^st prepare your ears for seven days of love and joy on the Loveweek festival with the sounds of artists like Robin Schulz, Showtek, Oliver Koletzki and Felix Krocher.

Aug 8^th to Aug 15^th is reserved for the 4the edition of Barrakud festival with huge headliners such as Maceo Plex, Sven Väth, Dennis Ferrer and Ellen Allien, while Aug 16^th through 20^th is designated for Sonus festival, where you will be greeted by the beats of Dixon, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin and Seth Troxler.

Then it is time to move away a few miles into the continent where you will be able to find all that was lost on the Lost Theory festival at Deringaj in the amazing ambient near the river Otuča dancing and swinging among the trees deep in the forest from 12^th to 17^th of Aug with psychedelic and goa trance DJs, live acts and performers. A tad more south we hop to Zadar which invites you to come and dance at the open spaces on the new Viva Riva festival on Aug 7^th and 8^th.

From Zadar we move on to Tisno, the enchantingly wonderful location that is one of the fastest growing and most sought for festival destinations in Croatia. For some mindless senseless fun Tisno opens the season with The Garden festival.

Jul 1^st through 8^th is going to be your last chance ever to visit The Garden festival on its final 10^th edition, called “Going Out with a bang”, with the farewell soundtrack provided by Seth Troxler, Bonobo, Craig Richards, while just a day after we say goodbye to The Garden  we have a new bomb. Jul 9^th to Jul 13^th will be a time to notice the huge Electric Elephant in the room when disco music will be celebrated by the likes of A Guy Called Gerald live, Derrick Carter and Bicep.  Soon it will be time to stop being practical and join the crowds at Stop Making Sense festival lasting from Jul 16^th to Jul 19^th. It will become a home for all house, disco, techno, electro, soul and funk lovers with musicians such as Anja Schneider, Anthony Naples and The Black Madonna.

After the madness it will be time for sleeker, sexier sound of SuncéBeat Festival as a home for sultry soulful house from Jul 22^nd to 29^th and the soul will be brought by artists such as Kerri Chandler, Louie Vega, Dimitri from Paris. Finally Soundwave festival will be reverberating over the water surface Aug 6^th through 10^th with the sounds of Mr. Scruff, LTJ Bukem, Slum Village.

Our last stop in the Northern Dalmatia region is Šibenik where you will be free to lend your ear to the SuperUHO festival from Aug 6^th to Aug 8^th with Einstürzende Neubauten, King Khan And The Shrines, Rosetta.

CENTRAL DALMATIA – Ultra Europe bomb

Central Dalmatia will blow you away with the promises of unforgettable nights. We start at Trogir which will be dancing under the Moondance festival flag on Aug 2^nd with the greats such as Dave Clarke and Kink. Than we slide over to Split. This is where you want to be because from Jul 9^th – 15^th it’s time for the huge Ultra Europe bomb with the global headliners like The Chemical Brothers (LIVE), Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, Hardwell, and from Aug 6^th to Aug 8^th you are invited to EDM fantasy of Split Beach Festival with Fedde Le Grand.

Supetar at Brač will become a safe haven for the Voi`sa festival. Artists like Breach/Ben Westbeech, Greg Wilson and Joey Negro play from Jul 30^th to Aug 1^st, and then a little more down the longitudes is the oh so sunny Hvar island which welcomes you to the 3^rd edition of FOR festival held from Sep 4^th – 6^th.

SOUTHERN DALMATIA

And finally we are off to the most southern festivals you will have a joy from choosing from. First you can stop Korkyralis at Korčula which is an amazing five week long relaxing festival experience where you can chill on the farms and yachts nearby and dance your heart out with Tube & Berger, Tiefschwarz,  Subb-an and Noir from Jul 25^th – Aug 29^th, and maybe in the meantime slide to Velika Duba Bay near Živogošće. For all of those who cannot help but dance under the stars in the untouched nature we present the Adriatic Perception festival on Aug 14^th and 15^th when we will be joined by Christian Smith, Silicone Soul and Ramon Tapia.
