If you wish to spend some of advent weekends, the merriest of all holidays \u2013 Christmas or spend a New Year&#8217;s Eve on a nice place, then coming to the sunniest island in Croatia is the right choice.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent.fzag1-1.fna.fbcdn.net\/v\/t31.0-8\/20116903_785936744942390_5976327015462432423_o.jpg?_nc_cat=110&amp;_nc_ht=scontent.fzag1-1.fna&amp;oh=ec01cc1c3298554723363cac391a41f7&amp;oe=5C953A72\" alt=\"Image may contain: ocean, sky, outdoor, water and nature\" \/><\/p>\n<p>This year as well for the locals and their guests advent programme is held in front of Lodge, in small advent houses. Hvar Town, in cooperation with societies, associations and institutions of the town has prepared a programme within which various concerts, shows and performances will be held.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/hotspots.net.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/Hvarsko-kazali%C5%A1te_preview-777x437.jpeg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Advent programme started on December 8, and it will last until January 5, 2019. Apart from advent houses on Riva (waterfront) programmes will be held in gallery Arsenal, in Arsenal and in the Cathedral.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent.fzag1-1.fna.fbcdn.net\/v\/t1.0-9\/48220560_1079638322238896_7680202248885895168_o.jpg?_nc_cat=110&amp;_nc_ht=scontent.fzag1-1.fna&amp;oh=741c27b6d75ee6b12f1211044fff3c96&amp;oe=5CA0AE2B\" alt=\"Image may contain: one or more people, people on stage and indoor\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Something for everyone<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, December 12, 18<sup>th<\/sup> Marin Days will be held \u2013 musical-stage collage of High School Hvar and Association \u201cKapja jubavi\u201d in Museum of Franciscan monastery. Two days later, on December 14\u00a0 in gallery Arsenal musical-stage programme of GSU Stella Maris Hvar will be held, and concert of choir Stella Mari and Stellice and stage game \u201cWaiting for Santa\u201d. Guests are Little Guitar Players.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/hotspots.net.hr\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/12\/20161119_121919.jpg\" alt=\"20161119_121919\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Sunday, December 16 in Arsenal a show \u201cYou cheat him, but don\u2019t leave him\u201d will be performed, and the days after that you should visit Christmas concert of Musical School Of Josip Hatze in Orlana. Concerts will be given by town musical society, for youth there are DJ programmes, and various band and musicians will also perform, from Split, Ka\u0161tela and Zagreb. Throughout December there will be friendly football matches and sailing match race for amateurs.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent.fzag1-1.fna.fbcdn.net\/v\/t1.0-9\/47689257_1078997395636322_5588328278361374720_o.jpg?_nc_cat=106&amp;_nc_ht=scontent.fzag1-1.fna&amp;oh=9d4ded12b046f905e6cca8950fe30b19&amp;oe=5CA83C0C\" alt=\"Image may contain: indoor\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A group from Rijela takes Hvar into the New Year<\/p>\n<p>Two days after Christmas, on December 27, semi-finals of 38th New Year\u2019s mini-football tournament will be held, organized by Association for Mini football Hvar. On the last day of this year there will be a special event \u2013 38<sup>th<\/sup> navigation regatta memorial Zdravko Roi\u0107 and finals of 38<sup>th<\/sup> New Year\u2019s mini-football tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Day before New Year\u2019s Eve, on December 30, a young Croatian music celebrity Mia Dim\u0161i\u0107 is having a concert, while people form Hvar and their guest will be taken into new year by Rijeka\u2019s band Super Cover Band.
