IN THE YOUNGEST TOWN IN CROATIA EXCEPTIONALLY DESIGNED WINTER FESTIVAL AWAITS YOU\u2026and if you visit this town between 14 January and 14 February you will see for this yourselves! Namely, this is one of the rare manifestations that together with promoting cultural, natural and religious heritage of the town \u2013 puts basic life values to centre!<\/p>\n

WEEK ONE \u2013 WATER \u2013 it is a part of lovely Solin\u2019s jigsaw puzzle of experiences. Its main stars are jewels of natural heritage: the Jadro River, softmouth trout and very rare swamp cypress! Try to prepare trout in Gastro workshop, take your youngest to Drawing school or Workshop for children with flour from Mlinica, or try to make a natural heritage souvenir in Para\u0107 house!<\/p>\n

WEEK TWO \u2013 MERCY \u2013 aims to present religious heritage of Solin \u2013 from church of Our Lady of the Island as the oldest Marian shrine in Croatia, to the very beginnings of Christianity on this area!<\/p>\n

Visit Solin\u2019s churches ad chapels, attend a lecture about St Duje, or go on a thematic tour of the town called \u2018\u2019Tracks of Solin\u2019s martyrs\u2019\u2019!<\/p>\n

WEEK THREE \u2013 HERITAGE – abounds in contents that raise awareness of the importance of protecting cultural-historical heritage and its quality interpretation!<\/p>\n

Participate in archaeological workshops for children and grown-ups, enjoy in Salona sights and City gallery Zvonimir Solin (The Night of Museums), try to make Solinjanka<\/em> head out of recycled paper or see how good you are in embroidery, knitting and crocheting!<\/p>\n

If you have any energy left after all these activities \u2013 we recommend a visit to a rock concert!<\/p>\n

WEEK FOUR \u2013 LOVE \u2013 a wonderful final piece of Solin\u2019s jigsaw puzzle. Through making hearts, gifts and cards for Valentine\u2019s Day, tournament in forgotten games, lovely dance party and numerous other contents Solin invites you to celebrate basic life values, for it has always been a town-friend of children and family.<\/p>\n
