Municipality of Marina is located between Split and Šibenik and only 12 kilometres away from Trogir, so it offers to tourists the opportunity to enjoy in ambiances of UNESCO cities in a short period of time. Marina is located in the same-named bay; it is the centre of Municipality of Marina which encompasses 15 settlements.
Marina Riviera consists of three more small picturesque Dalmatian places: Vinišće, Poljica and Sevid, which will delight you at first sight. The crystal clear sea, pebble beaches and numerous hidden bays are only a small part of what this area has to offer. Swimming in the crystal clear sea will surely provide you with refreshment during the whole summer, while active holiday enthusiasts can spend their time on one of
numerous cycling tracks.

Whether you are an amateur or a professional, the ride along the natural paths through forests and
by the sea will provide you with an unthinkable pleasure. Maybe this indeed is the best way to completely become familiar with this part. You can also buy homemade wine and olive oil in some of numerous rural households or simply rest in a shade under a pine on some hidden beach.
When planning active holiday, guests who are eager for sea adventures can surely be satisfied with the proximity of small port Agana Marina where they will find all the necessary nautical facilities. In order to provide guests with enough entertainment, tourist association, in cooperation with numerous local
associations, prepares various cultural – sports events every year which enrich the offer of Municipality.
Among other things, Marina is visited by Bookshop Boat – Culture Boat every year. You can also visit some other events included in “Marina cultural summer” organised by a motto “something for everyone”.
Of sport events we single out mountain car race which has taken place 4 years in a row. The race is called “Prizes of municipality Marina”– the regional championship of Croatian south region.
It takes place every year in November. Also visit “Marina track” which is situated on the part of road from Rastovac up to Bliznea Donja, regatta “Marina Open” which takes place every year in
June, from Podstrana to Marina and many other sports events.
